Whiteswan Lake Camping Aug 24-26/2007

Troy and I went camping this past weekend up at Whiteswan Lake with his parents and their friends. Saturday we went out quadding to the active fire in the area, Monroe Lake and Crossing Creek. The active fire was quite the sight to see and smelt awful. Monroe Lake was really cool looking-I took pictures of birds, Mitzi found herself some puppy energy and the lake was a beautiful turquoise. Crossing Creek was exciting-bumps, dips and steep. Crossing Creek is supposed to go to Elkford-we saw a few people on the path-but we weren't able to get across it ourselves-it was far too steep-so we headed back to home basin for happy hour:). Sunday we were going to go fishing-but it rained all day and we decided that we would come back again this weekend to fish. Lisa, Lee, Dayten & Tika came up for the day on Sunday. So we're heading back to Whiteswan this weekend-and a lot more of Troy's family will be there too. Good times await!
